A stroll through the streets of Helsingborg picking and choosing from the huge range of exciting products is a wonderful experience. There are more than 500 shops, and 160 restaurants and cafés. The main shopping street runs south from Kullagatan, Scandinavia´s first pedestrian street. Be inspired by the trendy fashion and interior design shops, or the shop with beautiful utility goods in silver and brass by Sigurd Persson. The big chain stores are also found here.

Continue past Stortorget to the attractive Mariatorget square where you simply must stop to enjoy the friendly atmosphere and maybe a tasty meal at one of the nice restaurants. Olsons Skafferi, which serves Italian delicacies, is a real gem. There are small, exclusive shops here selling toys, chocolates, shoes and jewellery. Continue along Bruksgatan pedestrian street with trendy lifestyle shops such as "tretton", and don´t miss the 50s café Ebba´s with its enormous chocolate squares.

The shopping street runs south past the city park and library to Södergatan. Söderpunkten by Mäster Palms Plats is a nice shopping centre with many shops. Further down Södergatan there is an interesting shop called Tasty House, which sells hundreds of kinds of nuts of all shapes and colours. If you are looking for other healthy goodies, visit the exotic market trade in Gustav Adolfs Torg.
