The Tycho Brahe Museum on Ven

Tycho Brahe built his famous castle of Uraniborg on the beautiful island of Ven in the middle of the Sound. There is a new museum here in the former All Saints´ Church and an underground observatory, Stjärneborg. The museum also has a reconstructed Renaissance garden around the area where Tycho Brahe´s Uraniborg once stood.

The Graphics Museum
Scandinavia´s biggest printing museum is located in the old city quarters by the Fredriksdal museums and gardens. Here you can follow the history of printed production from paper manufacture, manual and mechanical typesetting and printing methods to bookbinding. Interesting theme exhibitions every year.

The School Museum
A nice little museum where you can study the development of schools. It´s easy to see that much has happened over the years. The museum is located in Östra Skolan, next to Slottsvångsskolan.

The Poppe Museum
Nils Poppe was one of the greatest Swedish comedians of the 20th century. He performed comedy at Fredriksdal Open-Air Theatre for 28 years. The little museum is located in the city quarters by the Fredriksdal museums and gardens.
