 The Gourmet City Helsingborg is packed with restaurants and is known as a real gourmet city. There are tastes from around the world in a lovely continental setting. Our star chefs serve culinary delicacies you will never forget, and two of Sweden´s absolute best restaurants are here: Sofiero Slottsrestaurang and Restaurang Gastro. The restaurant boat S/S Swea is located by Kungstorget and equipped like a luxury cruiser of times gone by. La Petite serves French delicacies, and if you long for Italian, you should visit Trattoria Linetti. Other excellent restaurants are Café le fil de Rasoir, Helsing Bar & Matsalar, Olsons skafferi and Papi Bistro & Njutbar. The restaurants on the promenade along the quay in the Northern Harbour serve tasty meals and drinks with views of the spectacular sea. If you travel south, Wallåkra Stenkärlsfabrik serves a real gourmet menu for all tastes. The restaurant is located in a warehouse with a murmuring brook underneath. If you travel north, we warmly recommend a visit to Restaurang Bryggan in Höganäs for a culinary experience with lovely views of the harbour. "TURA" This Helsingborg expression means that you enjoy a good dinner or lunch on board the ferry while going back and forth between Helsingborg-Helsingør without getting off. You can go as many times as you like on the same ticket. It is a perfect start to a fun evening. Nightlife Helsingborg offers Continental entertainment, and you can party in two countries in the same evening. Choose from hot clubs and dance places. If you prefer to talk and take it easy, we can recommend Grands Pianobar on Stortorget, and if you are looking for live music, we can recommend The Tivoli and Restaurang Harrys, which offer live music, good food and well-stocked bars. Some of our popular pubs include the Bishop´s Arms Pub, Utposten and Charles Dickens. Cinema It´s never wrong to see a good film. Filmstadion cinema lies in the southern part of Helsingborg and has eight screens. Röda Kvarn is Helsingborg´s oldest cinema, and it shows quality films. |
