Fishing
Enjoy a day of deep-sea fishing in the Sound with cod, herring, garpike and mackerel, depending on the season. The fishing boats depart from the harbours in Helsingborg and Råå (the southern part of Helsingborg). Fishing tackle is available to hire on board.

Pålsjö Pavilion
Pålsjö Forest is located above the city in northern Helsingborg. There is a nice pavilion in the forest where you can enjoy freshly made waffles in summer. Go for a walk through the beautiful forest and, if you continue further west, you will reach Pålsjö Castle, which dates from the 1690s.

Gröningen
Gröningen is located north of Norra Hamnen and is a god place to sunbathe and swim if you don´t want to stay at one of the city´s beaches. There is a playground, boule courts and nice summer restaurants.

Sports Centre
The Sports Centre is next to the Olympia football arena and offers most indoor sports. There is also Olympia Bowling. Olympia is near the city´s biggest hall for racket sports. A stone´s throw from the Sports Centre is Helsingborg´s ice-skating hall and curling hall, home to Helsingborg´s Hockey club, the Redskins. The Sports Centre is also used for events and fairs.
